September's Song

Ahhhhhh, September.

This is such a cherished month, isn't it dear blog peeps?

The hot and humid days of August are abating and there is a distinct nip in the morning and evening air.

Days spent at the beach are now memories.

Neighborhood kids walk along the sidewalk to the bus stop en-route to classrooms, learning and homework!

On the ground are a few colored leaves already that are little signs of things to come.

I think they fell early to remind us to appreciate every moment of loveliness and sunlight.

Some of the fall decorations are back but not all of them.

Little by little, they will make their way out of the attic and out for all to see and enjoy.

The "straw kids" will arrive on the front porch soon so stay tuned.

Wishing you all a pristine and treasured September day.

WHAT SIGNS OF AUTUMN, IF ANY, DO YOU SEE WHERE YOU LIVE?

Okay I went to a store called Kirkland's today and they had all their fall items out and they were so gorgeous - but at 95 degrees it is hard to think about fall. Love your decorations.

Such pretty Fall touches. Some leaves starting to change and cooler mornings here, but high 90's in the afternoons do not make me think of Fall!

Well we do not have "seasons" where I live so I will enjoy looking at all your "fall" decorations through your blog.

Halloween candy is on display at the grocery store. The pool is closed. School has started. And I remembered I like peppermint lattes at Starbucks!

It must be Autumn.

Our trees don't change for a while yet.

Oh what pretty table place mats.

I love autumn themes. The leaves on some trees are turning yellow and the days and nights are cooler. The geese are gathering and practicing their wings, as are the crows.

Wishing you a beautiful day and a lovely autumn.

I agree with your love of autumn! today was gorgeous and cool but I missed outside as my chemo fallout was making me very sick all day. Tonight it is to be 52 here...a little too cool but I love this "orange" season.

Oh, the glass pumpkin is beautiful, Susan. You are getting ready for Fall.

I forget if you're part Polish, but I think you'll like my Polish Festival post today. :)

HI Susan.. I loved seeing all the cozy autumn decor in your pics. I love Autumn a lot! But here in India we still have hot and humid weather, I wish it ends soon.
