A very dear, non-blogging friend recently traveled to Disney World in Florida.
Truly, I was so happy that she was able to go on this trip of a lifetime.
I almost flipped seeing the box protruding from the mailbox.
This Elsa doll, one of the gifts inside the box, is something else.
Push a button on the doll and the lovely blue dress flares up as well as lights up!
And look what darling pups came, too!
In the midst of a lot of discord and post election discouragement throughout our beloved country, dividing it in half, it sure was wonderful to get a pleasant and heartfelt surprise from the heart of the friend.

Susan, I know a few little sweethearts in your family who will enjoy these.
I know the little ones those are for and I know who will get Elsa! I think I value in a friend is trust - caring - love - etc. Faithfulness.

Those little Pluto faces remind me of many wonderful childhood moments! I love Disney World and can just imagine the gift shop she found these in. :-)

I've never had many friendships but the few close ones I do have, I cherish. This weekend is my birthday and it still thrills my heart to receive a birthday card in the mail from two of my oldest, dearest friends.
I value my friends very much as there is very little family where I live. I do live a half hour from Disneyland though and I have a Disney store at my mall too right down the street from me. I think your grandchildren will love the little gifts you got in the mail. I've had one friend now for over forty years and she is very dear to me. We can say anything to each other and know it is in the strictest confidence...love that in a friendship.
