Minimalist, maximalist, country, modern, Victorian, French, and on and on are all used in decorating.
Small touches, without necessarily depicting a specific style, add to the ambiance in my own small apartment.
Greeting cards, both sending and receiving them, are always a part of decorating around here.
This past week, a perky bear, holding a lovely little bouquet of flowers, decorated the front of a birthday thank you card.
A sister, Diane, who lives in California, sent it.
It took a second to cut the note off and place the card front on a small, gold-colored stand.
There are stands of every size in a buffet drawer in the living room.
Little bear is as cute as can be and her message highlights something wonderful.
It reads, "Bless you for your kindness."
Kindness counts and is always valuable in making the world a much better place.
CAN YOU TELL US ONE WAY YOU SHOW KINDNESS?

Love that little bear decoration. I try to call a friend now and then who has been moved to a nursing home far away. She appreciates hearing from me so much. That’s a way I practice kindness.
such a cute little bear and you were very creative in placing in on the stand. something you enjoy should be placed out to see. I try to practice kindness everyday...just a simple text to tell someone I'm thinking about them..
I sent you a comment on this, but I guess it got eaten up. That is the cutest little bear card decoration. Receiving cards in the mail is so special. That was thoughtful of your sister to send it to you.
Have a peaceful Sunday, dear Susan, and a pleasant week ahead.
