Last night I snapped the photos for today's post.
They will be the LAST of the Christmas season, I promise!
I even got brave enough to open the front door to take the shots of the front yard.
Let me tell you, it was c-c-c-c-c-old.
But inside, it was cozy and warm.
The Christmas tree and mantel lights were the only sources of illumination.
I relished the last, fleeting moments of the pink and white loveliness.
Soon they will be taken down, packed away and hauled up to the attic until next Christmas.
Part of me wonders what changes might take place by then----what loved ones might not be with us anymore and other painful things that could happen.
There is no way I stay in that sad zone for long.
This precious life is to be lived , one sweet moment at a time in the present.
There's no need to worry about the future because none of us know whether we even have one.
We have only the gift of today and it is quite a treasure.
WHAT'S ONE FUN THING YOU PLAN TO DO TODAY?
