A very dear friend of mine knows that pink is my favorite color.
Last fall, she went to an estate sale and came away with several things, including a Santa figure in a flowing pink garment. He also has a very thick, white beard. Then, she came straight to my house to give it to me.
"Here," she said, thrusting the Santa into my hands. "You like pink so I knew you'd like him."
Like him? I LOVE him! He joined his many Santa cousins in the hallway this Christmas. But even more important than the Santa, himself, is the love that friend has for me. She constantly gives from her "heart."
