Breakfast Out

 On a recent day trip, we stopped for a bite to eat at the Stables Sandwich Shop, a homey, fun little place, located in the western Massachusetts town of Hadley.

The Stables serves breakfasts only on the weekend.

The message printed on the backs of the wait staff's shirts surely was for fun. It proved untrue on all three counts!

  The coffee was rich, hot and delicious, the service was friendly and the food "yummalicious." (I made that word up.)

Eggs Benedict, which are never, ever made at home, were yummy. Instead of Canadian bacon, they came on sausage patty-topped  English muffins.

Fruit on the side, shown at the top of this post, was tasty, too!

Hubs ordered a breakfast burrito----eggs and bacon inside a rolled up tortilla. This is the half he was too full to eat!

Portions were large and it was virtually impossible to finish everything.  Oh well.
