This past Valentine's Day holiday, we made cookies, we made cookies, we made lots and lots of cookies!
As a matter of fact, there were so many cookies to decorate, pack, and deliver, that I don't want to see another heart-shaped cookie for a long, long time.
Cupid can take his arrow plus every crumb of cookies left around here and disappear into the clouds until Valentine's Day, 2012!
We started by bringing out these cute heart-shaped cutters in different sizes.
When the whole army full of cookies retreated from the oven, out came all the ammunition---decorating supplies.

I seem to want to go to the pantry and pull out a cookie of my own now...and I was being soooo good all morning! yikes!
for me, it's anything homemade, and any day of the year will do....holidays aren't necessary to indulge in my part of the world! lol
