Flowers Are Among God's Most Precious Gifts to Humans

Today we are joining Think on These Things on Lorraine's beloved blog, With a Grateful Prayer and and Thankful Heart.  Click on the link and you will find many delightful things to read!

God has blessed His children with so many incredible gifts and flowers are among the most precious.

Like the humans He created, there are  so many different colors and shapes, scents and sizes of flowers.

Flowers never cease to amaze and delight.

We send them for all occasions such as the birth of a newborn baby, on birthdays and anniversaries, to congratulate, to ask forgiveness and to say goodbye to loved ones who have left this world.

Lovers give flowers to each other to profess their admiration and husbands know they can make their wives smile with  beautiful bouquets.

Can you imagine what this world would be like without flowers?

Spring, summer and fall are wonderful seasons because they bring forth such incredible flowers but even in winter, they are available in supermarkets to bring home for our enjoyment.

Today, as the rhododendrons burst into bloom and the pansies continue to nod their perky faces to the sun, my heart fills with gratitude to the Lord for creating flowers.

Isn't He a good and loving Father?

WHAT FLOWERS WILL YOU ENJOY TODAY?

Susan I could not agree with your more. I think that all things are given from God or allowed. And I think some things in nature like flowers, birds, pets - are all good things he gives us to help make us feel good. Love, sandie

Hi Susan,
Your flower photos brightened my day.

On this warm spring day in Missouri I'm going to enjoy my day lillies, roses, and Russian sage--although the Russian sage is probably more of a plant than a flower.

What lovely images to brighten my day. A baby bunny nibbled the leaves off my rose bush and it is not flowering, but I am hoping.

I, too, love flowers. Today, our hydrangea is in full bloom, and that will be one for me to enjoy.
Love, compassion, kindness, consideration - those who show those qualities to others are also like a bouquet from God. It is my daily goal to work on assembling such a bouquet for myself.
Happy Sunday!

My purple hydrangea is in full bloom along with several jasmine bushes on my side yard which smell heavenly. I'm so thankful for my sense of sight and smell to enjoy the flowers.

Your blog serves as a source of intellectual nourishment in a world saturated with shallow content. Your commitment to depth and substance elevates the level of discourse and encourages readers to engage in meaningful contemplation.
