Cheerful Sight in a Parking Lot

You know how important it is to find beauty in our surroundings each day?

Well, the least likely place (I thought) that beauty would be found was a supermarket parking lot.

Yesterday, I had a really busy, crammed day.  There was a lot to do and I kept checking things off the very long list of errands.

Coming out of the supermarket, rather tired,  with a shopping cart stacked with my  full recycled bags, I scanned the parking lot for my car.

Lo and behold, my eyes feasted on yellow and orange flowers (I think they are day lilies, right, flower fans?)

Now going into the market, I didn't even take notice of these beauties.

Look at that yellow fire hydrant hiding in there. It's surrounded by beauty both day and night!

After loading my car trunk,  I did what every dedicated blogger on earth would do.

Ran for the camera in the front seat of the car.

The photos in this post are the result.

Look at how intricate the inside of the  flower, shown below, is.

It's like a work of art.

I couldn't help but think,  "Thank you, Lord, for so much loveliness that you have given to us, even in a supermarket parking lot!"

DO THE SUPERMARKETS WHERE YOU LIVE HAVE FLOWER BEDS NEARBY?

I love yellow flowers girlfriend - they are just so cheery. How can you get down with yellow flowers. But what amazes me - is a yellow fire hydrant too - I don't think I have ever seen one - I love it. sandie

What a gorgeous display of pretty yellow blooms. And a yellow fire hydrant? I thought they had to be red. Was it painted to blend in with the yellow flowers? Lovely! Have a great day. Tammy

Gorgeous flowers. Such a beautiful colour. We do have little sort of gardens around the car parks, but they are filled with grasses. It never ceases to amaze me how people take short cuts to their cars through them, flattening them as they go. :(

That is just beautiful. I love day lilies. No flowers near most of my grocery stores.

Ha, I had to search a bit to see the yellow fire hydrant amid the gorgeous yellow flowers! Yellow and orange are my favorite colors, especially for flowers.

Glad you received such a cheerful pick-me-up to your errand-laden day yesterday!

Blessings,
Janette

What would we do with out our camera's. I do believe bloggers are the most fun and creative people ever. If you were a color...I would say you would be a beautiful bright and cheerful yellow. How many people do you suppose passed these beauties and never saw them :(

Wow ~ beautiful photos of beautiful flowers. Yes, those are day lilies and such a pretty yellow. Nothing like that where I do my grocery shopping.

Can't help but be cheered after seeing this post :)
