There's a new look in our round flower bed.
One day last week, I saw a fall arrangement that just about made me keel over. It was so colorful and filled with texture.
So I determined, right on the spot. to create a much smaller version in our front yard round flower bed.
This is what it looked like when we started out:
Hubs cooperated totally. He went out and bought colorful chrysanthemums and lined them up on the brick walkway before arranging them in the round bed.
Then I added a couple of cabbage plants I found for $1.00 each!
We put it all together and I like the way it came out. The neighbors will have a beautiful sight to see for the next several weeks.
One neighbor said she was so inspired by our display that it prompted her to go out and buy some mums for her front steps!
I still want to add a white pumpkin or two, but, all in all, the front yard round flower bed is ready for fall!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FALL FLOWER?

How beautiful! And what a great idea! I need to do something like that. The colors are SO beautiful!
It's beautiful, Susan. I love mums, but can't pick a favorite.
So nice for you and all who see!
I really love your flower bed. Love the bricks on end...charming. Very inspiring Susan. I love mums and the color they give us at this time of the year.
Beautiful! You and Hubs have worked very hard, and you have created a masterpiece for the neighborhood to enjoy! I truly have no real favorite flower for any season, except that it is hard to beat a lovely rose in the springtime!
Spider Mums! To me, they're a work of art and memories of Homecomings past:-D Your lovely round garden is so colorful and speaks volumes about the season--such an eye for design you have, XOXO
Love this flower bed! What a gorgeous display. hugs, Linda
I have the most beautiful rose bush. It starts out with a bright pink bud that then blends to yellow and becomes pink. Beautiful!
I love it...your follow through is very inspiring...I see things I would love to do but never do...look what I am missing. :) It is great.
You have a very nice display! I need to follow your lead.:) I really like to see pansies in the fall. They often will winter over and give blooms again in the spring here.
I don't have a favorite flower for the fall ...I love your little round garden. It is really colorful and I'm sure everybody who goes by will admire you and your husband's work.
I love your new fall garden. The colors are so pretty this time of year aren't they?
Hey they would look beautiful planted and lined up and down the driveway too.
