In the Pink in the Dining Room

All of us have a favorite color, right?

Mine is definitely pink.  It's a happy color as well as fairly calming.

We have a lot of pink in our home's interior decorating.  (Oh, my poor hubs. He never complains, either. What a gem!)

Every holiday season, I like changing things around a bit. It's boring to have everything the same all the time.

So this year, I wanted to add some pink to the dining room.  In my burgeoning Santa collection, there are a couple of fellows dressed in elegant pink.

I picked the most handsome and placed him in the center of the table.

Also pulled out some cranberry glasses and they add another touch of pink.

Guess one could say she's "in the pink" around here!

DO YOU STICK WITH TRADITIONAL HOLIDAY COLORS OR DO YOU USE SOMETHING DIFFERENT AROUND YOUR HOUSE EACH YEAR?

Your pink Satan's are adorable! I change things out routinely as well. I get very bored when it stays the same all the time.

Pink is such an elegant color at Christmas and you've done it right! The pink Santa is so regal looking over your beautifully set table...ugh, I'm so far behind! XOXO

I always do my tree a different way each year. My adult son names the tree depending on how it is decorated.

The pink is very nice, Susan. The Santa works well as a centerpiece too. Pink dishes..how lucky you are to have these for extra touches!

I think cranberry glass is always lovely on a table! I've been a fan of red for most of my life, and pink is very close to that. Everything looks quite lovely, Susan! Thank you for sharing! :-)

Lovely Christmas decorating in your home! Love the pink. I don't usually use traditional colors. Aqua has been the theme for the past years. As I type, I have some lime green happening in the family room :)I am being daring!

Pink is a favorite color of mine! With three daughters, it was always "in style!" While it's fun to change things around, I usually wind up doing about the usual decorating at Christmas. Red and green seem to be such bright, cheerful colors.

Years ago I had a pink Christmas now I decorate with very simplistic and subtle colors that lean towards the country style. Your pink is lovely and elegant and looks nice on your table. I pretty much keep it the same...I wish I had some of your decorating talent. :)

I love your 'being in the pink'. I think it's great to use different colors to decorate. I love the cranberry glass as well. And it is YOUR table - lol. So who is coming for dinner?
