Mini-Bakery/Candy Shop Update

Well, progress is being made in the future "Sweetheart Bakery" and "Yum Yum Candy Shop", all in miniature.

Darling heart-filled pink wall paper has gone up on one wall in the future bakery.

Lots of goodies have come out of storage and have been placed on the newly painted display shelves.

This has been a work-in-progress for many years.

Plans for it actually started when we lived on the other side of the country.

Almost everything has been homemade. My daughter helped create many of the "delectable clay" offerings.

Luckily, everything stored well and now the bakery and candy shop are coming to reality! Hurray!

Next door to the dollhouse bakery, in the planned candy shop, a few of the shelves now have some sweet additions.

The candy apples (beads that were dipped in shiny red paint with sticks made from strands taken from a broom) are my all-time fave.

There are teeny tiny candy bars, too, and some cool little jars  filled with a variety of candies.

I'll keep you posted, from time to time, as this enchanting creation takes shapes.

Are you familiar with "button" candies?  Check out these miniature versions, about as big as postage stamps (but not quite.)

I LOVE creating anything in miniature!

DO YOU HAVE ANY INTEREST IN MINIATURES?
