This is the tale of a rooster and a hen.
One day, a decorative bright pink cloth hen came home with me.
(You can read a post about it here )
She was content sitting on the kitchen windowsill, waiting for spring.
One day, right before Easter, a package came in the mail from a very sweet, kind and generous blog peeps.
Her name is Linda and her blog is Lady Linda.
Guess what one of the presents was inside the wonderful package?
Yes, a beautiful blue, orange and yellow ROOSTER!
So he was introduced to Miss Hen and it was love at first sight.
Now, the the hen and the rooster both sit on the kitchen window sill and wait for spring.
WHAT WAS THE LAST SURPRISE YOU RECEIVED FROM A BLOG PEEPS?
I saw those at Micheal's and I thought of you. Darn I wish I would win the lottery. I see so many things for my friends I'd just love to get and send them. sandie

Fun looking hens.
ReplyDeleteI love your critters!!
ReplyDeleteU am not a blogger, but you have seen me often refer to my Facebook friends. One of them sent me FOUR BOUNDS of fresh pecans, shelled, from her front yard!! That was a REAL thrill, as you can imagine! Another one sent me a box of wonderful candies/cookies from her Christmas cooking, which we enjoyed a LOT!! And there have been others... Friends, wherever one finds them, are a true blessing from God, and we should never take them for granted! You have obviously been a blessing to many, and they are expressing their gratitude to you in this way! :-)
