If We Light But One Little Candle.....

Last weekend,  one of my sisters accompanied me on a moment's notice to a couple of thrift stores.

One of them was a Goodwill.

Nothing was calling out to me until I  spotted a pretty glass.

It had a long stem and the top was crackle glass with pretty pink flowers.

Now I certainly didn't need one lone glass to drink out of but I immediately thought what a pretty tea light holder it would make.

So for $1.79, how could I pass it up?

When I got home, I washed the glass in hot, sudsy water, then rinsed and dried it.

I placed a lemon tea light in it and lit it.

Wafts of lemony fragrance filled the living room.

The result was very pretty and there are absolutely no regrets for having bought it.

Today we are joining Linda at A La Carte and Diann at The Thrifty Groove for Thrifty Things Friday.

Stop by their blogs and say hello.

DO YOU BURN TEA LIGHTS?

  1. Susan this is beautiful. It makes a lovely tealight holder. I love the crackle finish and the colors. Tea lights are one of my favorite ways to burn candles. Thanks for joining TTF this week!

  2. It's a beautiful glass. I too burn a lot of tea lights. I have them in my diffuser where I put water and essential oils at the top. I find it relaxes me.

  10. The glass is very pretty...I really like the crackle. Classy thrift find and i am sure it looks nice with the tea lite. I have a few but rarely use them because of my cats.
