Have you got an old bathtub hanging around?
Your garden flowers will love it!
The flower-filled tubbie in this post is on the porch of the Berkshire Mountain Country Store in Lee, Massachusetts.
Somebody there was very creative when they came up with this unique way to display flowers.
I think they make quite a "splash."
WOULD YOU PLANT FLOWERS IN A TUBBIE?
Well that's to sweet and yes I think it made a splash...Happy Sunday with Love Janice
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that???!!!

I have seen several bath tubs used around here but always in the yard and never painted. This one looks extra nice in blue and seems at home on the porch.
ReplyDeleteSusan,
ReplyDeleteI have always loved this idea and also a "Bed of Flowers" but I unfortunately just do not have the room.....
Maybe Doll size..not doll house but a little bit bigger... That would be cute, huh?

Deb
It gives a whole unique look to a flower bed! Looks like the tub that was in my grandparent's home, XOXO
ReplyDeletePure cuteness! I love this sort of creativity!

Aw very cute and if I had a place for a tub full of flowers, well sure! I'm still hoping to have a chair planter one day!

The "tubbie" planter was unique; need lots of flowers to fill it up tho. Looks like the spot on the front porch of your favorite store is a perfect place for it. I don't think I would have a good spot for it in my yard; think it would look out of place. Maybe in the yard of a rustic cabin or old farmhouse would be a good spot. Looks like the flowers were thriving.
ReplyDeleteI'd like raised flower beds in my backyard ...don't know if I'd put flowers in a bathtub in my neighborhood...definitely would be out of place but at the country store...perfect. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool, Susan. Yes, I think I would plant flowers in a tub, if I had one. I love those old tubs.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.

Hello from Spain. I really like that idea. It's very original. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteSomeone took some special pains with that tub before planting those flowers! Most of the abandoned tubs I have seen have needed much, much sprucing up before planting flowers.
ReplyDeleteYou know I would Susan IF i had the right place or house for it. I think they are eclectic and I love that. sandie
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I would; love this idea! There is an auto body shop in my town that has the frame of an old MG parked out front and they've planted flowers in it. A local paint store has large silver paint cans filled with flowers handing on a small fence outside their building. These arrangements dress up both places quite nicely!
ReplyDeleteI have seen toilets with flowers in them ...this looks a lot better. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteCute, but I don't have room. Hope you and your family enjoyed Father's Day weekend!
ReplyDeleteHow is my friend Susan doing today? Hope you had a great weekend and are ready for the new week. Time is just going by too fast. Love the tub idea. Hugs, Martha
