Tree Stump Creativity
Some people see a tree stump and think nothing of it.
Others, like my friend, Christine, see a floral opportunity.
She planted several blooming flowers on a gnarly tree stump in her back yard.
The results are quite spectacular.
They grow from the trunk in all angles as well as at its base.
It's a beautiful addition to her yard!
Talk about a creative way to make a floral sculpture, this is a prize-winner!
HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT PLANTING FLOWERS IN A TREE TRUNK?
Now that's an interesting idea! We have a large stump like this out back near our creek. I'm thinking I should do something like this there. So glad you shared this. Happy Monday! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a very good thought, and with such beautiful results!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful idea! And that particular stump is quite unique compared to most! Thanks, Susan! AND...I'm happy to announce that YOU are the WINNER of my give-away!! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I were that creative. I have a couple of stumps. Very pretty, that flowered stump.
ReplyDeleteI have a big stump in my backyard..now this is a very unique idea. I have poor soil though so flowers wouldn't grow near it. Lucky lady to have such a lovely tree stump.
ReplyDeleteShe is most creative and clever! That is a unique and beautiful little garden spot! Since we are renters at our apartment complex, we do no landscaping, but this would be lovely anywhere there is a stump!
ReplyDeleteShe has turned it into a work of art!
ReplyDeleteWell now isn't that cute! Our neighbors ghave zucchini planted around theirs.
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: it is a very original idea. I never thought about it. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteI have not ever thought about that - however - if I ever have one I will do the same thing - that was a great idea - I had no idea you could even do that. Love it. sandie

I "think" it might be Kathy? However, I don't see a blog for you. Thanks so much for following.
Well, hope everyone's first day of the new week was terrific! Susan
I think it is a great idea. A lot of people in my area do amazing things with tree and tree stumps such as your friend did hing you could purchase in the store.
ReplyDeleteJeepers...where did the rest of my comment go? It should read...such as your friend did with hers. It is better than anything you could purchase in the store.
