Surrounding us everywhere are incredible gifts of beauty.
This entire week, as previously mentioned, we are entertaining special guests.
The bittersweet aspect of doing this is one never knows if it's the last time one will spend time with loved ones.
This is especially true if they are elderly, which is the case here.
So it's imperative to savor every second----to let irritations and disappointments roll off us like slippery butter.
So much to do, not enough time in life to do it all----that's the harsh reality of life.
Among the "little things" that brought a smile to my lips on
The blooms in store window boxes couldn't make a sound but their beauty provided a chorus of pleasure!

ReplyDeleteToday - on Wednesday - I have been to our church and smiled at all the hustle and bustle going on there! From roofing to setting up for a block party later today to installing new playground equipment for the preschool, it was a veritable beehive - and that doesn't include what was going on INSIDE the church!
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely marvelous to look for the little things! These flowers are so sweet! I am delighted that you shared with Home and Garden Thursday,
