Note to the Lord
(All photos in this post are of scenes at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy, Marian Fathers, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts.)
Dear Heavenly Father:
On this Sunday, I wish to thank you for several things.
For the gift of entertaining both a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, for five precious days, I thank you.
For memory-making excursions, festive meals, laughter and tears shared with guests, I thank you.
For the gift of flowers from a friend, I thank you.
For an open house with family members and friends, much abundance, food, music and happiness, I thank you.
For bright, sunny days and cool, lovely nights so perfect for sleeping, I thank you.
Today, Sunday, for rest and thinking back on such a perfect week, I thank you.
For blogland and all the wonderful people I have been blessed to meet, I thank you.
You are such a kind, loving and generous God.
Your love for your children never ceases to amaze me.
Love, Susan
