She brought over a huge bouquet of utterly gorgeous gladiolas and a separate vase of mixed summer flowers.
The glads were from her own garden and the other flowers she bought especially for our guests at a farm stand.
Not everyone is kind and thoughtful.
Some people rarely do anything for others.
This friend, however, is always doing something kind.
The flowers brought so much joy and continue to add beauty to our home.
My heart was deeply touched by this dear and loving friend's gift.
It was more than thoughtful of her to want to do something nice for our guests to make them feel special.
Her gesture was so deeply appreciated with all of our hearts.
It meant so much for her to think of my husband's family members in such a special way.
DO YOU GIVE FLOWERS AS GIFTS TO OTHERS?
It is not something I do very often but my daughter often brings flowers. I will more often give people a cutting off a plant they like.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
I don't think you can go wrong with a gift of flowers! Yes, I have taken flowers to friends on occasion, and they are always appreciated!
ReplyDeleteThe glads remind me of the ones that grew in our yard when I was young. My father took pride in growing them. I think they are beautiful!
These are so pretty! I love to give and get flowers. They seem the right gift for most any occasion, or for just no reason at all!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
