A Note to God

(All photos in today's post were taken at the farmers market in Lanesboro, Massachusetts.)

Dear Heavenly Father:

This Sunday, and every day, really, I want to thank You for abundance.

You have given your earthly children so much variety in almost everything.

Walking through one of numerous farmers markets, the abundance of  fruits and vegetables, eggs and plants is always astounding.

You have blessed us with many rich colors, scents, textures and tastes.

Now, as we move forward into awesome autumn, we see the splendor of trees bursting with scarlet, yellow, orange and burgundy leaves.

For those of us who also have the eyes with which to see everything, there is even more to be grateful for.

Father, thank You.

You are so kind and loving, so generous and good.

I know it makes you happy to see your children smile.

WHAT IS ONE THING YOU WOULD LIKE TO SAY TO GOD TODAY?

  7. Thank you God for taking the time to create that which will amaze and awe your children. Thank you for variety - countless shades of red, blue, etc., countless kinds of fir trees, maple trees, etc., differing seasons, differing parts of the country. Thank you for people with differing gifts, differing personalities, differing temperaments. Thank you for allowing us to create. Thank you for all that you are and all that you do and for all the love you pour out on your children - love that comes directly from you and love that comes through other people. Thank you for family.

  9. Hello Susan,
Can you believe that I am crying at this point after reading all the glorious comments that you post has arisen, especially the one of Ruth Ann! I used to have a best friend whose name was Ruth Ann.
We miss our best friend, for she went to Heaven too soon.
We shall see her again in the Lord's loving arms one day after our call.
    God may bless you all.
    Blessings & Warm Hugs,
    Poet Starry Dawn.
