At a baby shower last weekend, one of the highlights of the buffet table was a centerpiece of luscious fruit kabobs.
They were made by a great cook who happened to have studied culinary arts.
He made hearts from cantelope and stars from fresh pineapple! Isn't that amazing?
They didn't even need a dip because the fresh fruit was so yummy.
HAVE YOU MADE FRUIT KABOBS?

We have fresh fruit everyday but I have never made fruit kabobs; how pretty they are.
I have never made fruit kabobs. They looked awesome. That was a cantaloupe that made those hearts????
Gosh I wonder how they do that?
Looked very pretty.

What a nice idea for a baby shower; I'm sure everyone enjoyed the fruit kabobs, they looked so fresh and tasty.
I have a mango sitting in a pretty bowl on my counter and was thinking of making a fruit salad for lunch; will add some bananas and grapes and kiwi. yum!
Hello from Spain: I like fresh fruit but I usually never eaten fruit skewer. Very rich and original. I'm sure the baby shower will be very fun. Keep in touch
I have made fruit kabobs before, but none with this amount of creativity! I don't have the patience to cut out stars and hearts.:-)
I always love to see fresh fruit on a buffet table or at a party!! These kabobs looks yummy!
Yummy. I've been eating lots of fresh fruit lately. Especially kiwi and banana and tangerines. Delicious! Zack has to do a group science project - a healthy food item. I just showed him the fruit kebabs and told him they should have done that. They only had 15 minutes in class to decide though and have to do it tomorrow so not really enough time to plan. He'll be taking the 4 kiwis we have in the kitchen right now. :) Hugs, Tammy
What a beautiful and yummy display. I saw a kitchen gadget at Sur La Table that would cut fruit to resemble those expensive gifts, XOXO
Well, how cute is that! Sorry I have been away for a few days. Busy-busy! Enjoy the fall colors. Your photos are lovely.
Perfect treats for a baby shower - Loved it! I am delighted that you shared with Home and Garden Thursday,
Kathy
