Monday, Monday!

Happy Monday to all!

Here it is, Nov. 18, and all is well.

A goal to have Christmas gifts bought and wrapped by Nov. 30 is off to a good start.

A special Christmas notebook from last year had lots of pages left in it so it's getting used.

Every gift bought gets recorded so there's a running list of what goes to whom and how many more need purchasing.

Last night I spent a couple of hours wrapping gifts while watching a little tv so progress is being made.

Hurray!

DO YOU BUY HOLIDAY GIFTS FOR MANY OR FEW?

Oh Susan, you put me to shame. I haven't even thought of Christmas. I am usually well ahead, but this has been such a busy few months that I've hardly had time to breath. LOL

This year we are buying for few and slipping cash in many cards. The kids are all too old, and there is no way to please them. It si so fun to buy for babies though. I know you are enjoying your little one.

Hello from Spain: I like the new photo of the cover of your blog. Very cute. I see that you already have purchased Christmas gifts. I am also starting to buy gifts for my daughters and my husband ... there are toys that sell out quickly. Keep in touch

What a festive page this morning! You are on the ball with holidays. We buy for hardly anyone anymore. Family diminished so much and friends have agreed we need nothing but time together.

Susan those gifts look so nice - you did a great job on those.

I know that you have a lot of gifts to get - you come from a large family.

I have a very small family so I buy a few!

I need to get my notebook going, Susan. I have the same goal for having everything bought and wrapped! I'm actually making progress, though sometimes it seems that I'm just "spinning my wheels." I imagine the list is for more than "a few.":-)

I don't buy a lot of gifts but I do buy for my Grandson, daughter and SIL. Then my best friends and I exchange 'stockings' we stuff with all sorts of items. It is great fun. Your packages are looking wonderful.
hugs,
Linda

Hi Susan, you are an early bird! We are making big changes with our gift giving this year and I am happy. I love to give gifts, but the bigger family was getting out of control. Many family members are in life changes places so it was a good time to do this. Grandchildren are fun and our girls and hubbies plus my friends, but outside of that, it was becoming a have to do instead of I want to do.
Love ya,
Linda

You are way ahead of the game. I haven't thought about or done or planned anything so far. I really need to get myself organized. Haven't crafted in a while. Should start planning some holiday crafting. :) Best wishes, Tammy

I don't do a lot of gift buying; just for immediate family, which this year includes a new grandaughther so there will be a few more gifts to make or buy. That will be a pleasure.

You are ahead of it all; I don't think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving. I'm trying to simplify things a bit and focus on time together with family and friends. Right now I"m just enjoying November and all it has to offer. I can appreciate your early bird attitude tho, as it will leave you with more time to relax in the busy month of December.

I have a wedding this December on the 14th so buying gifts will be done before I go to that. I just buy for my immediate family that includes my three grandsons. I love sending out cards and hope to have that done after Thanksgiving is over. Glad you got a head start on gift wrapping and buying.

Susan,
Your shopping and wrapping is coming along, my friend. I am the same way.....I want to get the shopping done early so I can truly appreciate what the season is about. I buy gifts for my children and husband, and I'm about half way finished. Love your festive wrapping.

Love,
~Sheri
