First of all, I'd like to wish each and every one of you a sweet and love-filled Valentine's Day!
I hope you know how special you are. I appreciate you more than you will ever know!
And now for today's post....
A special treat on one of these dark winter afternoons was taking a run into a Goodwill thrift store.
Within minutes, a couple of delightful bargains came my way.
The $3.99 teddy bear appears to have been handmade with rose-covered fabric and parts of a chenille bedspread.
The little she-bear looks perfect in a white wicker child-sized chair in the hallway.
The chair was part of a set found last summer at a yard sale.
I added a couple of lacy heart-shaped pillows, also thrifted, for a perfect extra touch.
Today we are joining Thrifty Things Friday on Diann's blog, The Thrifty Groove, with co-host, Linda, from A La Carte.
WHAT WAS THE LAST GREAT BARGAIN YOU WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND?

You locate the cutest and best items! So glad you share them with us. :)
Wishing you a sweet and happy weekend!
You and Kinda both find wonderful things at thrift stores. And if I go with Linda I do too. But I haven't found anything in awhile because I just have not been out.
I love your Teddy Bear.
Love,
sandie
The teddy bear is darling and I love the wicker chair. You are so lucky to have found a set!
You LOVE bargains ..this one was so cute and I know your Grandbaby will love it too. I haven't gone shopping in a while but did find things on sale at the Disney Store a while back.
Happy Valentine's dear blogger friend. You always find such fun things when you go thrifting. I love it.
The little bear is just too cute.
Love ya,
Linda
Oh that precious teddy bear! I'm so happy she has a happy home now.
And a Happy Valentine's Day to you!
Gentle hugs,
Tessa~
I love thrifting, too. The bear and pillows are great finds. I know a lot of love went into making the teddy. Wishing you a happy Valentine's Day.

Cute bear and great colors for Valentine's Day! I remember way back when, chenille bedspreads were all the rage...
Don't think I have gotten any great deals lately, but I haven't been in the Goodwill Store for quite a few weeks.
Happy snowy Valentine's Day!
Sweet little Valentine bear! And I think the best bargain I ever got was my old Home Comfort 1913 cast iron cookstove, for $60. But that was a looooooong time ago. But even then it was a real steal! Love that thing.

Hello from Spain: Happy Valentine's Day. Your purchases are always fabulous. Long time I do not buy good products at low prices. Keep in touch
Oh, Susan, you did find sweet bargains! So perfect for Valentine's Day. Hope you are having a lovely day and keeping warm!
What sweet finds, Susan. Happy Valentines Day. xo Laura
Happy Valentine's Day! Been a rough here lately and no red hearts out so thank you for sharing your heart cheer today!
I do not find the treasures you do...I think it must take a special eye to spot them....
Hearts and teddy bears used to be what I collected. I still do collect hearts but put a halt to the teddy bears. Although, now looking at this one, I wish I hadn't sold my patchwork teddies at a carboot sale -- but it was for charity. So be it! Blessings, Tammy
