They are on an upper windowsill in a downstairs bathroom.
The curtain on the bottom half of the window is just a piece of lace that was particularly exquisite.
It lets the light shine through so beautifully.
The little birds were almost all yard or thrift shop discoveries and purchased one at a time.
They make a nice birdie family, don't you think?

DO YOU LIKE THE COLOR TURQUOISE? HOW DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL?
The color turquoise is one of my very favorite. I have always enjoyed your little bluebird posts.
ReplyDeleteturquoise is a new favorite of sorts. Always like and wear the stone...now I want some bowls or plates too!!!
ReplyDeleteI love any shade of blue or green. Most of my wardrobe is in shades of those colors. Pretty birds!
ReplyDeleteBirds look so beautiful. Your curtains also looks good. They shine good when the sunlight fall on them.
ReplyDeleteIt's blue and any shade of blue I like.
ReplyDeleteMerle..............
Good Morning, I love your turquoise birds. How lovely to use the lace for a window covering. Always a pleasure to visit with you. Have a great day. I'm off to the dentist.ugh
ReplyDeleteGorgeous combination; turquoise "bluebirds" against a winter white landscape atop a romantic lacy curtain....You must enjoy looking at it every day.
ReplyDeleteI have one turquoise "bluebird" and he too is sitting on a window sill observing the winter wonderland outside the window; such a bright and happy color, I think.
Nice to see the sun this morning with fluffy white clouds swooshing across a "bluebird" sky.
Enjoy your day.....
I love he little Blue Birds and I have a collection of them also. They do make me so happy! Love the color and I'm trying to use more turquoise in my home!
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: I love the turquoise color. Reminds me of the sky in spring. Intense blue. Lovely Birds. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteYOur little glass birdies, are precious. Just precious.
ReplyDeleteAnd the lace is lovely. What a delightful way to "cover" a bathroom window.
You can show me, your little glass birdies, as often as you wish. :-) They make me smile.
I like turquoise, in sweet glass things like these. It makes me think of pristine pool water. But I don't think I'd decorate a whole room with it. If that makes any sense. :-)
An addition... I know.... A lot of turquoise would make me think of living in FL. And I didn't enjoy our time there.
ReplyDeleteGuess turquoise "says" FL coastal living to me. And.... Because of the above, I'd not want too much of it, around me.
Eeeeek! More info than you were seeking!!!! -grin-
I will tell you those those birds would be great in my room - I think I sent you a picture of my room. I would have to say for decorations it is one of my most favorite colors!
