Making Autumn-in-September Memories


Holy smokes. I don't know how it's been around your house, but around here it has been busier than a swarm of bees.

 Last weekend there wasn't even a spare second to sit and think much.




 We had a birthday party, out-of-state guests, a visit with an elderly aunt and a class reunion breakfast, all rolled into a couple of days. Whew!

 Loved setting an autumn table for breakfast.


 The fall faux leaf wreath is up again, too, to welcome visitors.



While having a busy schedule does make one a little frantic, it's also wonderful for making precious memories!

    Sounds like a very busy time, Susan. Don't forget to make time to rest. :)

    I would entertain more if The Man was a bit more into the whole idea. He's never been a social butterfly, although he does enjoy family gatherings. I guess we can call that entertaining, too.

    Beautiful Autumnal table and I'm sure the breakfast was scrumptious too. Lucky guests. Sounds like a very busy but fun weekend.

    I do like to entertain and do so quite frequently. It is a lot of work, but the fun of it is definitely worth it. Sounds like you agree.
