Last weekend there wasn't even a spare second to sit and think much.
We had a birthday party, out-of-state guests, a visit with an elderly aunt and a class reunion breakfast, all rolled into a couple of days. Whew!
Loved setting an autumn table for breakfast.
The fall faux leaf wreath is up again, too, to welcome visitors.
While having a busy schedule does make one a little frantic, it's also wonderful for making precious memories!
DO YOU LIKE TO ENTERTAIN?
Looks like fun at your house even if busy. That is a super looking table...wish I were there too!!!
ReplyDeleteI do not entertain but I love to be entertained..ha ha. Lovely decorations for the fall Susan!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a very busy time, Susan. Don't forget to make time to rest. :)
ReplyDeleteI would entertain more if The Man was a bit more into the whole idea. He's never been a social butterfly, although he does enjoy family gatherings. I guess we can call that entertaining, too.
Hello from Spain: beautiful table decoration. It's very autumnal. I like family meals ... keep in touch
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous table and so full of the autumn hues and richness! Even while busy you have set a beautiful place for breakfast!
ReplyDeleteGIRL YOU WENT ALL OUT - THAT WAS GORGEOUS - I Love what you did with it and I am sure your guests did too. You make everyone feel good. I like to entertain but have not in awhile.
ReplyDeleteThat table setting is lovely, and I know you had fun at that reunion. You were probably the belle of the ball.

Love to entertain! I' m running behind with that recently, so I must get busy!:-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Autumnal table and I'm sure the breakfast was scrumptious too. Lucky guests. Sounds like a very busy but fun weekend.
ReplyDeleteI do like to entertain and do so quite frequently. It is a lot of work, but the fun of it is definitely worth it. Sounds like you agree.
Your table is lovely. It does seem like things get really bust this time of year. I'm trying to drag out the fall decor and see what I want to keep. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteI can identify with being busy! Same here! Your autumn table is absolutely gorgeous. =)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Valerie
Your Autumn table is so festive and pretty, Susan. I really like the red glasses. It's starting to feel like Fall around here. Yes, I like to entertain, but there's nothing like a quiet night home with your loved one.
ReplyDeleteHave a sweet September week.
love,
~Sheri
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteYour table looks so pretty! I've always admired your plate pattern, is it called Country Roses? I have the cups and saucers but that is it.
Have a great day!
