(Witchy is one of the decorations you could bring home from Sadie Green's Curiosity Shop in Sturbridge, Massachusetts)
One of the best parts of going to a different locale is looking for unique shops.
No matter where travels lead, it's a sure bet they will result in the exploration of interesting shopping opportunities.
Sadie Green's Curiosity Shop in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, was a perfectly wonderful example of a fun shop to peruse.
It's located right next to the Publick House Historic Inn.
If I had lottery winnings in my wallet, there were plenty of things I would have plunked money down for.
Lots of colorful things and decorative items, such as the pretty glass shade, shown above, are there to catch one's attention.
As shocking as it may seem, I did not buy a blessed thing but it sure was fun looking!
DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC THINGS IN MIND WHEN YOU BOUTIQUE SHOP OR FIND THINGS RANDOMLY?
Helo my dear glad to visit I kno it's been a while been so busy trying to sell things at mamas house. I love to find new shops but of course my favorite close shop is the tea shop here. Looks like your shop had some wonderful things. Happy Autumn with love Janice
ReplyDeleteIn Poland our catholic priests are against halloween. So we have divided people. Some celebrate it but the others don't. I think kids like it indeed. Greets :)
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: this store is fabulous. Many nice things. I like to go shopping and buy things that I like but do not need them. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteI'm always on the lookout for Floe Blue plates and Hob Nail anything! That looks like one fun shop!
ReplyDeleteI do both. Sometimes I do what you did, come out empty handed! Not often tho. Usually find some kind of treasure to bring home.
ReplyDeleteThe Curiosity Shop looked like a fun place to browse. Loved the witch at the top of the post.

That looked like a great shop! I find things randomly and the less money I have the more I find!
ReplyDeleteI'm from Wisconsin, but my husband had an aunt in mass. So we've actually been to Sturbridge a couple times. I loved it! Some of those buildings seem to go on forever. I usually just window shop but once in a while something will catch my eye and go home with me.
