The not-so-scary boo brothers are back as well as bunnies, an angel, chickens, roosters and more.
Yup, they are all part of the kitchen curio rack.
The chickens and roosters, shown below, originated in El Salvador and I purchased them when we lived in that country.
The little angel, shown below, is a fairly new Goodwill find. She was too adorable to leave behind on a dusty shelf.
The two little bunnies, below, have been around awhile and the big mama actually belongs to my granddaughter who inadvertently left it at our house.
Do you know, that at age 2, she recognized the bunny was hers?
I forgot to give it back but will return the little hopper to her the next time she visits.
Who can have Halloween without a candelabra, even if it's only two inches high!

So cute Susan...I'm sure your Grand daughter has a wonderful time looking at all the things you have for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteI love Halloween! And I have decorations all over my house. After a summer of green. My place is full of orange and black. Oh, and by the way yes I do have Susan Branch's latest book. I got mine direct from her when it first was published. It is wonderful, isn't it? Have a lovely weekend. Kit
ReplyDeleteThe Boo Brothers are charming. Like the rabbit family too. I used to decorate more for Halloween when my kids were still home. I have a few things I enjoy putting out now. I just enjoy the ambiance that is Autumn in New England. To quote Gladys Taber regarding Autumn: "We are in for a spell of perfect weather now, every day luminous,(sunlight thru colored leaves) every night brimmed with stars. Picnics at noon(as the Autumn sun is still warm)supper by the applewood fire at night, a walk in the cool moonlight before bed." Says it all.
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: you have a fabulous collection. The photos are adorable. Keep in touch
