Sunday Blessings

It had been a stressful morning so I headed outside to the backyard  to take a breather.

The day was autumn glorious with brilliant sunshine and perfect temperatures.

Leaves on nearby trees shimmered in gold, orange and scarlet finery.

Sitting on a seat near the patio table,  I looked up at the heavens, fighting tears.

Frothy white clouds moved by quite rapidly and watching them lifted my spirits.

A bird, taking a solo  flight, soared blissfully in the sky and gracefully spread his  wings as he dipped in mid-air, quiet and free, without a care in the world.

Nearby, on land, other birds happily sang, filling the air with cheerful chirps.

Surrounded by such incredible beauty made my heart sing even though the season is bittersweet.

There's a sadness in my heart when thinking about  autumn ending.

However, when I finally got up to go back into the house to do numerous chores, my entire being felt renewed.

A short  time in nature made me realize how insignificant my problems really are in the general scheme of things.

God is in charge-----of even the tiniest detail of life---- and that's  all that really matters.

WISHING EACH PERSON READING THIS A DAY OF PEACE, GENTLENESS AND LOVE.

Hope your Sunday is a restful one and that you continue to hold on to the perspective you gained while contemplating the beauty of autumn.
