A recent baby shower required four fall table centerpieces.
A trip to the Goodwill Store felt like striking gold.
In other words, four perfectly lovely fall arrangements could be purchased for very little money.
They were all in the colors of the season, too---- brown, orange, yellow and a little red thrown in for good measure.
They decorated the tables, along with votive candles, faux leaves, and small pumpkins.
The pumpkins came from a roadside farm stand and cost 50 cents each!
Now that the shower is over, the decorations have been placed all over our house!
WHAT, IF ANY, CENTERPIECES DO YOU USE FOR AUTUMN?
I have to say what a great idea for centerpieces when you have a big party - you go to Goodwill and pick all those pretty little things and then away you go! Then you have them for the year and can decide what to do with them once your done and the baby will love to play with them and won't hurt a thing!
ReplyDeleteLovely Susan..I do have a scarecrow on my outside door...and some pumpkins on my coffee table..that's about it for me..ha ha ha.
ReplyDeleteThey all look pretty and nice to have such a bargain!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan! Everything looks wonderful and so pretty for Fall. Have a happy day. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteMy Autumn centerpieces are about the same every Autumn - seasonal gourds/squash in a large bowl with pumpkin candleholders on either side. Looks like Goodwill was the place for you! I don't seem to have much luck with the one that is nearby.
ReplyDeleteHi my friend! Your table center pieces are so beautiful. You did score! Hope the shower was a big success. Thank you for your kind words. You are the best. Sending hugs your way! Martha
ReplyDeleteI have one faux arrangement for Fall that I love to use!
ReplyDeleteLove to decorate for the fall season. The decorations will stay up until after Thanksgiving. As the family will gather here for Thanksgiving dinner it will be nice to have everything already decorated. I have a few Halloween decorations that I use every year, but they will be taken down once the calendar changes to November.
ReplyDeleteYour centerpieces were very pretty and brought a spot of color to the tables on an otherwise dreary day. Your hall table was lovely too with all the mini pumpkins, pictures of family and the Autumn colors.
Hello from Spain: I love the autumnal decor of your home. I have a pumpkin on the table in my living room. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteGoodwill is such a great place to go for inexpensive decorations. I haven't gotten any real pumpkins yet. I do like to gather things from nature to add to the things I use from year to year. Definitely keeps the costs down. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteYour Fall décor is so lovely and festive, Susan. I love the sweater pumpkin. I have a few things out because I just moved into our new home.....an orange velvet pumpkin, some sparkly pumpkins, a pumpkin spice candle. I keep putting things out as I go along. Thanks for asking, dear.
ReplyDeletelove,
