A Pre-Christmas Surprise

Today, I am beyond thrilled.

Christmas cactus must have known this was the month for her to shine.

She started sprouting fat buds that burst into gorgeous deep pink blooms.

Honestly, every time I go into the kitchen and see her on the counter, it makes me sooooo happy.

This is a truly magnificent pre-Christmas present.

Thank you, Christmas cactus.

  You are a prize!

DO YOU HAVE A CHRISTMAS CACTUS? IF YES, WHAT COLOR AND DOES IT BLOOM IN DECEMBER?

  1. Hi Susan! That plant really IS beautiful! Can you believe I've never heard of a Christmas cactus?! I've had pretty red amaryllis plants, but I think the cactus is much prettier!

  3. Beautiful ! And yes, I have a very old Christmas cactus in full bloom right now too. She is a bit lighter, but still vibrant pink.

She is beautiful! Coincidentally enough, a dear friend was in the area yesterday and I picked up a gorgeous Christmas cactus for her! I love them and what a treat to have her bloom right on time!

  9. I have tons of cacti on my side yard but none in the house. I do not have a Christmas cactus. I had one a couple years ago but I have no green thumb and it died on me. Perhaps I watered it too much..ha.
