Remember that I promised to show you the inside of Christmas dollhouse?
Well, today's the day!
We'll start in the living room.
The tree is up and has tiny green and red flashing lights.
You can't see it very well, but the rug in the living room came from the gift shop of the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys.
And the lady of the house's Santa collection lines the stairs. (Good thing, too, because we haven't installed a banister yet and that could be dangerous!)
Of course there is the tiny manger scene, ready for your perusal.
The photo at the very top of the post shows the candy canes on the kitchen table, along with a Christmas cake.
The tablecloth is a paper napkin with a holiday motif!
Above the stove is a cucu clock which was a gift to me last Christmas from my oldest sister.
See the little snow-covered house on the windowsill and the tiny candlesticks?
Tomorrow we will show you close-up shots of the upstairs bedrooms!
Then, next week you will get to tour a dollhouse mansion!
Yes, a friend, Violet, has graciously agreed to show you her own pride and joy dollhouse.
She has been working on and collecting for it, for a couple of decades.
We couldn't be more thrilled!
Here's the outside of the dollhouse shown in today's post.
If you missed the posts on the front and back yards and are interested, you can find them on this blog during the past two weeks!
WHAT, IF ANYTHING, DO YOU LIKE ABOUT DOLLHOUSES?
