A Song in Your Heart Kind of Sunday!
Hello!
Hope you have a happy Sunday today!
May it be a keep-a-smile on your face and a song in your heart kind of day.
Let the fatigue of the season's aftermath wash away today.
Find a moment or two of quiet and peace, just for you!
Whether it is looking up into the sky or sticking your nose into a flower, a few minutes of peace for you will be well worth your while.
By the way, all the photos in this post came from the Red Lion Inn's super cute gift shop in Stockbridge, MA.
WHAT ARE YOU UP TO TODAY?
Happy New Year :)
ReplyDeleteWhew! Finally a day of rest.... Time for some quiet contemplation and a food detox!
ReplyDeleteHad more company over the weekend than anticipated, but at least most of the cookies and pies are gone!
Love the Red Lion Inn gift shop. May take a ride there to try to catch the last performance by the harpist at the Inn. She has been playing Christmas carols most afternoons during December, but I never did find time to go. Hope today will be the day. Nice way to end the season.
Have a restful Sunday.
I took a walk along the beach and then have been doing lots of cooking, just making things up with what I have on hand. :) Within 5 seconds of starting to clean, I broke a glass candle holder so decided that was a sign that I'm not supposed to clean after all. Ha! Hope you had a great Christmas. Best wishes, Tammy
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shop! Today, I continue taking down some of the decor. I like to get most of it down before I return to work. But there will be football to keep me company. :) Kit

ReplyDeleteAll three grands are visiting and it's been hectic! Love the Raggedy Ann doll--that was the first doll I ever attempted for my girls:-D Happy New Year, dear friend, XOXO
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! I am enjoying being home and resting today and still trying to get rid of the virus I have. Loved the pictures of the Red Lion Inn. I hope to go there again someday!
ReplyDeleteSusan, your post hit home for me today because I had a house full at Christmas and now straightening things up and resting. I must admit I'm a bit tird, so I visited nature today with husband. It was good to get back to nature. I saw the raggedy ann doll and smiled, as Nel carried hers around everywhere she went when she was little.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful shop this is filled with toys and cloth dolls. Shops like this are so charming.
I wish you peace and joy in the new year. Thank you for your friendship through the years.
love,
~Sheri
I am entertaining guests still!
ReplyDeleteI love that giraffe with the pink tutu! I want one.
Hope you had a nice weekend.
