The Pinks Have It
Good Monday Morning, dear blog Peeps.
Hope your weekend was delightful.
One of the days I had the sweet opportunity of staying blessedly home.
Got some cleaning done, reading and so forth.
Looking around our home, I saw a lot of the color pink.
That's my favorite, you know. It's a happy color and peaceful to the heart.
The little Victorian night lamp, shown at the top of the post, I bought at a Cracker Barrel gift shop a long time ago.
For those of you are unfamiliar, Cracker Barrel is a chain restaurant that always has a gorgeous gift shop attached.
Regular readers of this blog already know how my heart beats faster when I spot cranberry glass.
The rich color of this glassware is just luscious.
Now we are starting a new week. Hope yours brings some good surprises to you.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR TO USE AROUND THE HOUSE?
So beautiful Susan! My mom-in-law used to collect cranberry and green depression era dishes. I especially loved the cranberry glass too - so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteHappy week ahead to you! xo
At this time of year, I especially like the color red. It just seems to visually warm up a room and make things seem extra cozy. Warm and cozy are what we need right now in this part of the country!
ReplyDeleteLove your pink and cranberry glass pieces. They are quite beautiful and I can understand that they make for a happy heart. Enjoy.
You know I'm a pink girl for sure. I also enjoy pops of red in my living room!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda
Favorite colors in my house are blue and green. I think they are very soothing colors and have always loved them. Enjoy your pinks...I know you love that color!
ReplyDeleteHello from Spain: I like light colors such as beige or white. The light color turns a house into more light. Your house is very nice and have beautiful details. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteMine is blue, we live in a warm country so blue is cooling.
ReplyDeleteMerle...........
Gosh for us it depends what room we are in - everyone kind of decorates things the way they like but Susan my walls and carpet is beige and boring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pieces - especially the lamp....
ReplyDeleteKind of depends on the season here, though my "go to" color is blue (various shades of it).
That pink lamp is gorgeous, Susan, I love it! You know, I love the color Pink, but don't have too much of it around my house except for Valentine's Day. I have always wanted a Pink guest room.....maybe someday.
