Remember the Little Things in LIfe

It's the little things in life that can make a huge difference.

Sometimes, whatever makes us smile is often worth more than a big bank account balance or an extended trip.

During Easter, one of my nieces gave a lovely floral centerpiece and a happy little stuffed duck.

When his tummy is pushed, he lets out a series of quacks.  It's impossible not to smile when one hears him.

One afternoon the sun lit up some of the flowers behind the duck.  It was an amazing thing to see.

It wasn't a trip to Europe nor a  deposit into a savings account but the centerpiece and accompanying duck have brought lots of light hearteded feelings around here and that's priceless.

WHAT'S ONE LITTLE THING THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?

Oh gosh, so many little things make me smile. Of course seeing Tiger enjoy his birthday yesterday was so much fun. He kept hugging me and telling me he wanted me to be with him forever. Now that made my heart happy.
hugs,
Linda

Great post! It's always the little things that make me happy. Right now I'm sitting here and reading all the wonderful blogs while having a piece of chocolate. This is one of the things that makes me happy. :)

I bet your granddaughter loves that duck - I would.

I think when I see beauty and I am reminded that God put it there for me to see and enjoy.
