The Ever Loving Cinderella

(Photos are of a placemat given to a diehard two-and-a-half year-old Cinderella fan.)

Ever since childhood, the story of Cinderella has enchanted.

There's just  something extra special about a young girl who is able to be so sweet and kind while being maltreated by a step mother and wicked stepsisters.

She never lost her innocence or gentleness.

As a child, I loved seeing the movie and listening to the music!

So when the new Cinderella movie came out, I had to see it.

It's delightful and spins the age-old tale with finesse.

Of course, our heroine looks gorgeous in her blue gown studded with thousands of sparkling crystals!

Cinderella's dying mother told her to always be courageous and kind.

Mixed with a bit of magic, that is always a winning combination.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW CINDERELLA MOVIE?

Would love to see the new Cinderella movie! Glad to hear it was well done. I recognize the actress from Downton Abbey. I believe she plays Rose.

I remember seeing the film as a little girl and being so enchanted with it. We had a little record player and my dear mother bought us a record with some of the songs from the movie. We played that thing til it was worn out!

I love that story, but no i haven't seen the new one - my daughter did. Did you know the gal who played Cinderella is Rose on Downton Abbey and one of the mean step sisters is Daisy on D.A.
