Baseball Bat American Flag on Glorious Fourth of July

This is a triumphant, happy day for all Americans.

This patriotic holiday, marking the independence of the United States of America, makes most residents proud to be Americans.

While at an appointment the other day, I looked up at one wall and was surprised to see this American flag, made completely out of baseball bats!

How American, for many, is that!

Truly, this day is joyous with marching bands and floats galore in parades across the nation.

The day is capped off with colorful fireworks booming away in the night sky.

Always, on this day, I stop and take a moment to remember all the soldiers, men and women, who have fought so bravely to keep this nation free.

To them, we owe a debt of gratitude.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THIS HOLIDAY?

What a cool picture - never seen anything quite like it. I'll have to show my husband, he loves baseball (and played it for many years).

Happy Fourth of July, Susan. Enjoy the day!

That baseball bat flag is brilliant, I can see many patriotic baseball lovers having them in their homes. God bless America.

Quite a unique display; very patriotic. Love the red, white and blue color scheme.

Hope you had a great 4th of July despite the early showers. The evening was cool, but clear so it was perfect for sitting by a bonfire and watching tons of fireworks lighting up the sky all around the lake. Of course, the best part is having family and friends together to enjoy the freedom we have and to be thankful to all who help to keep our country free, as we know that freedom is not free....
