Hearts, red roses and the color pink are a winning combination.
So, naturally, when coming across the sweet decoration, shown in today's post, at a yard sale, I bought it .
It was under $1.00 and makes me happy every time I see it.
It's currently on the enclosed side porch, along with the heart below, which I made by gluing pieces of colored plastic onto a board.
One of sisters, who is an artist, painted the floral border.
Such sweetness! Such simplicity! And all for just pennies.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COLOR AND WHY?
You know I'm a PINK girl also!!!

I love pink too and for me what it stands for. I do have to say my favorite color is teal. I do love your pink and roses!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and creative.
ReplyDeleteWell, I join those who are fans of pink! I also like blue and white in decorating the house, though that doesn't seem to be very apparent.:)
ReplyDeleteI do love pink too and any shade of red. I just finished painting an Adirondack chair that was looking a little tired. Guess what colors? Pink and white! It looks great.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty combination of red roses and pink border; a nice companion piece to the one you already had.
Nothing sweeter than hearts and roses. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteMy favorite colors are blues and greens although my house is in neutral colors. Enjoy your new pink purchase.
ReplyDeleteI like blue, it's a very cool colour but our climate is very warm sometimes.

Susan, you are very creative and talented! And I'm not a bit surprised that you're also a writer! I love what you did with the plastic pieces. Very cool. I don't have a favorite color....it's just whatever "hits" me at the time, for whatever reason!
ReplyDeleteI love purple because it reminds me that I am a daughter to the King of Kings and The Lord of Lords. :)
