You get a tremendous variety of very fresh produce and other treats.
While away in Colorado for the past 10 days, I was able to go to a truly wonderful farmers market in Parker, Co.
It. Was. Awesome.
I have no idea how many vendors there under the white "tent" tops were but there were a lot!
The variety of goods available was astounding, especially compared to the relatively small markets I'm used to going to.
Just look at the size of these hibiscus flowers. They were almost as big as dinner plates!
Veggies, plants, herbs, jewelry, pierogi(!), fresh breads including cinnamon swirl, peach butter, and on and on without end, amen.
Wow, wow, wowsers. What a market! So happy I was able to go.

Hi Susan! Wow, what a fabulous Farmer's Market! I love going to the Farmer's Market, but I haven't had time this year....sad, I know :) Have a lovely week, my friend. Hugs!
Just went to one along with a huge crafts fair in Eugene, Oregon. It took up six city blocks...wowie. I didn't buy veggies or anything as I was in a hotel for the week but everything looked great and the local people attend it every Saturday during the summer months.
I love the fact that the Farmer's markets are Outside! Who wants to shop inside during the precious summer months. Blue skies, sunshine, fresh breezes and walking among all the delicious and fresh fruits and veggies make for a joyous summertime activity.
My nephew lives in Parker, Co. Will have to check out the farmer's market next time we visit....
