The Wecome Lull......

The lull between Christmas and New Year's celebrations is here and it is very, very welcome.

The holiday gatherings have been fabulous-----magical----fun-----and tiring.

Christmas Eve at my niece, Amy's house, was delightful and we will have more about it in a post this coming week.

She really went all out and provided a marvelous celebration of the holiday for all her guests.

She is a hostess with the "mostess."

Today I want to show you the enchanting Christmas Village she sets up every year.

There are even tiny "people" inside some of the buildings!

It makes a person want to shrink down to miniature size and take a walk along the snowy streets.

Wouldn't you love to stay at the lovely Cranberry Inn, shown below?

I love the tiny red bows and garlands on the minuscule white fences!

Since, rather miraculously, we haven't had a flake of snow around here in the "big village", the little village's snow actually looked inviting!

Here's a wish for each of you to have a super Saturday after Christmas!

DO YOU ENJOY GOING TO AFTER CHRISTMAS SALES?

I want to live in this tiny little Christmas village! So sweet, dreamy, not a traffic jam or raincloud to be found. Ah...

But shopping the day after Christmas? Hahah...I think Rebecca above said it best. No. Hahha...no no no NO. ;-)

Have a good one, Susan!

Pretty village so festive and inviting. No, I don't get excited about shopping at all though I have some Kohl's cash so I will have to venture out. Do you have that store in your neck of the woods. So happy for a moment to visit sweet blogs before heading to celebrate our son in laws birthday in a little.

I love Christmas villages , and this is a nice one. You are so right, I wish I could shrink myself down and take a stroll around the village.
