House of Sweets

At a lovely New England landmark, The Red Lion Inn, in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, each Christmas season is sweetened by a first class candy house.

It's shown in the photos in today's post.

It's always located in the lovely dining room of the old inn and is quite  sight for all guests and visitors.

Lunch at the inn for our household is usually only a once or twice a year deal since it's quite expensive.

But oh, Christmas is one of those times and it is such a treat.

There will be a post on our lunch in the coming week so, if interested, stay tuned.

On this second Sunday in January, may you have a "sweet" day, filled with all good things.

HAVE YOU EVER MADE A CANDY HOUSE?

I'm not a fan of sweets but the house is gorgeous. There is one like it in Sturbridge Village also located in Massachusetts. I love the Red Lion Inn.
