Grace

The Easter season is filled with all kinds of spring flowers, bunnies, chicks and so forth, all of which add to the celebration.

However, the real meaning of Easter is spiritual.

For Christians, it signifies the brutal crucifixion of Jesus Christ and its overcoming by His rising from the dead after three days.

Throughout everything, Christ demonstrated unending grace.

Grace is a glorious state of being and something to constantly strive for.

Today, I wish you grace.

I think to get to grace you have to see all the things God has done for us and realize that we did not deserve a one of them. It is all because of HIS grace for us.

I hope I get His grace by doing the right things. I'm conducting a Living Stations of the Cross on March 18 at church and the music is beautiful. We are singing and having instruments and actors etc. I'm really looking forward to it. I love the spiritual part of Easter and the preparation for it.

It's a gift, only a gift. I received it. That's all.

I will quote the Dalai Lama, "Be kind whenever possible.... It is always possible."

The Apostle Paul said, "His grace is sufficient." Whatever our situation, the grace of God will sustain us.
