Three (or More) Coins in the Fountain

Every summer season, most of us add new dimensions to our space, right?

We might plant new flowers alongside familiar ones.

Maybe we'll invest in some new lawn chair covers or find a favorite flower pot at a yard sale.

Some things, however, are favorites and remain the same, year after year.

So it is for our backyard fountain.

This is one feature of our humble backyard that I really love.

So many wishes have been made from little ones when they threw coins over their shoulders and into the chilly water.

I purchased the fountain late in the month of  November so I had to wait a long time before hubs could set it up.

Ever since, it has brought me peace and a sense of well being, sitting by it and listening to the trickling water.

This year I added pink geraniums to Old Faithful Fountain.

ARE THERE SOME ASPECTS OF YOUR SPACES THAT REMAIN THE SAME, YEAR AFTER YEAR?

It just lovely, I would love to have a fountain just like that. I also love your lady. Mama has one on her front stairs that she adored. Happy Thursday my dear, with love Janice

Your fountain is lovely! Such a great style. I pretty much keep my patio looking the same from year to year. My many pots of flowers change upon my whim, but the decor is the same. :) Kit

That seems truly wonderful - so I guess your hubs is handy with water and electricity. Wish I could have one!

How wonderful to watch the children enjoy your fountain, Susan. I've always loved fountains.....water flowing, peaceful. And your lady statue is sooooo pretty.

I hope you are enjoying these summer days.

love, ~Sheri

I buy geraniums for our balconies every year but they never last very long. Already reached over 120 F here so just trying to keep things alive. I put water out for the birds every day but it turns into bathwater in no time because of the heat. Enjoy your peaceful water fountain. Happy July!

.. Hi Susan... we don't usually add to our outdoor decor... we don't have the room. What we do is change the garden around because it's mostly in pots ... this way we get a new look whenever we want..
I love geraniums... Hugs... Barb xxx

I have a birdbath we purchased many years ago, it has fallen over twice and had bits broken but I just repair it and it's Piges water supply he likes to drink out of it and nothing else.

I love fountains - there is nothing better than the sound of water (not counting a leak in a pipe, of course!). Hope you have a fantastic 4th!
