Rain, Rain, Stay!
This time of year, we pause to remember all who died on 9/11.
So much changed forever on that fateful day.
We stop to think of all who lost their lives and the surviving family members who lost a part of their hearts when they realized they would never see their loved ones again on this earth.
We think of all the firefighters and rescue workers who risked their own lives to save others on that horrible day in history.
Yes, this weekend, we pause, and remember...
And now for today's post:
Yeah! It's raining in western Massachusetts!
Wow, it sure is needed.
Given drought conditions, everyone was just told that outdoor watering of plants and yards could happen just once a week.
So the plants and grass (and humans) are now getting doused with lovely rain.
Just listening to it falling outside is delightful.
Yes! Rain at last.
Instead of saying "Rain, rain, go away," we are saying "Rain, rain, stay!"
Wishing all a "sunny" day!

God bless them one and all and the survivors and sufferers.
We had a day of rain, too which made the grass grow an inch and the flowers spring back.
Fall is in the air; the days are getting cooler, only 80 this week. Love it!
Praying today for all the survivors and people who lost loved ones fifteen years ago in that horrible attack. Wearing a red, white and blue flag scarf to church too. We NEED rain here so badly but none is predicted and won't be for quite some time. We are in your fourth year of drought and sure could use rain and I'd say stay stay stay too if we were blessed with it.
I will never ever forget 9-11.
And rain and thunder makes me feel relaxed and safe. Glad you are getting some much needed rain.
It's so refreshing to hear "rain, rain....stay" instead of the other. I'm so pleased you got rain. Many states need it right now, including California. I love the rain, Susan, and all that it gives us. I appreciate your post today. :)
love, ~Sheri
It is raining a good deal here too. Wet summer all around and I think an early fall.
Enjoy your moisture.
It's been a very hot humid summer with hardly any rain but we got the rain finally too. Felt great to see it coming down. I could almost hear the flowers singing out there. Happy Week.
