More Than Frozen Turkeys.....

Turkeys in the supermarkets aren't the only ones frozen around here.

A weekend storm brought very ch-ch-chilly temps and dumped at least a foot of snow on western Massachusetts.

As always, the snow-covered tree branches look gorgeous.

I surveyed the front and back yards from our porches and reveled in the surrounding beauty.

The bird feeder has a big roof of snow and the little winged ones lunch hungrily on the seeds we  provide for them.

There's a heater in the birdbath, too, so they can have a drink if they so choose.

Ah yes, this storm came a bit early for my tastes but Mother Nature could care less about that. ha!

ARE YOU IN THE MIDST OF PREPARING FOR THANKSGIVING?

  2. Wow that's pretty, but thankfully none of that here in central Illinois. A little chilly out, but I'm not ready for snow (it's the driving in it that I hate).

    Happy frozen Thanksgiving :)

  3. Lovely to look at. I have fond memories of living and working in western Mass in the early 1970s and loved the autumn weather there.
