Yesterday, while chopping, stirring and boiling, in preparation for the feast today, I had a little four-year-old visitor.
She learned a new song in preschool that I couldn't wait to share with you.
It gave me a good chuckle and hope it'll do the same for you.
It goes to the tune of "Did You Ever See a Lassie." Remember that one?
Kudos to the music teacher who taught it to her.
Here are the words she sang:
"I'm glad I'm not a turkey, a turkey, a turkey.
I'm glad I'm not a turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
They'll stuff you and bake you,
And then they'll all taste you.
I'm glad I'm not a turkey on Thanksgiving Day."
Bye bye, dear blog peeps.
Know what I am especially grateful for every day? Y-O-U!
WHAT IS ONE TRULY WONDERFUL THING YOU ARE GRATEFUL FOR TODAY BESIDES YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS?
