Oh boy, the autumn leaves sure are drifting by the windows around here.
They are almost ankle-deep which tells me fall is moving along quickly.
I like to keep on hand several fall themed tablecloths for the kitchen table.
The one shown in this post is one of my faves.
It has fall signs and is in pretty colors of copper, green, orange, and yellow.
Fall fruit on a crystal platter in the middle of the table looks nice, too, and is available for munching.
What month would be complete without turning the pages of Susan Branch's charming 2016 calendar?
She's such a talented artist and writes like a warm-hearted and loving sister, .
I love Susan Branch!
WHAT ARE SOME SIGNS OF AUTUMN AROUND YOUR HOUSE?
Beautiful colors in your photos, Susan!
ReplyDeleteWe have a few colors changing on the trees around here, a few. It is getting autumny! Really, the biggest sign is that I am looking forward to putting up the Christmas tree. I am usually a few weeks, even months, ahead of time.
Finally the leaves are changing here. We are really dry - in fact we are in a drought officially. They are not as pretty here - ever - as it is up there.
ReplyDeleteSome of my maple trees in the backyard are changing to yellow...one sign of fall but the temps are still in the low 80's and high 70's so not too fall like in those..ha. I have some turkeys up on my front door outside and on my refrigerator...that's about my extent of décor..,ha....Have a great weekend. Hope it doesn't snow yet for you guys. I know you had some last week.
ReplyDeleteNo signs of summer here .

ReplyDeleteYour home must be so colorful, each room filled with love.
ReplyDeleteYour Susan Branch calendar is delightful. I miss those big calendars, and usually just get the small book ones. Your table cloth is perfect for this month of November, Susan. I always like seeing the lovelies in your home. :)

Beautiful to see this evening! I love Susan Branch things! I have read all her autobiography books. Have you?
ReplyDeleteI love Susan too! And we all seem to have her calendar. I just bought my calendar for next year. I start decorating for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Lots of gold and brown and ceramic turkeys. I like your table runner. :) Kit
