A song on a Walton's Christmas cd, titled "That's What Christmas Means to Me," has some sweet lyrics.
It tells that "outside my window is the Christmas bird, singing the sweetest song you ever heard."
Originally, I thought singer Kathy Mattea sang that song but I was wrong. It was on the Walton's album. Sorry about that.
Of course, I love Kathy Mattea's singing (check her out on You Tube) and the Walton's Christmas album is also one of my favorites.
In any event, there's a Christmas bird downstairs in our house but he's looking out the window from inside!
Another little sweet decoration is a mini station wagon with a Christmas tree placed on top.
Saw this kind of decoration in several places so created one for around here.
In the downstairs bathroom is a pretty bowl of bells. The bowl is made from cracked glass and covered with poinsettias.
One of dozens of Santas sits on top of a little glass and brass shelving unit and inside it are several "reindeer" bears.
There's a basket of mini-books, too, all about three inches tall.
Christmas. "Gotta" love it.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS CAROL?

I loved that cracked glass bowl - gorgeous.
I like Silent Night and for fun The Twelve Fays of Christmas - probably the only person in the world who does.
I'm a nut for books. Love the minature ones especially. Everything is beautiful. That car and tree are very nice. Have to remember to do something like it next year.
O Holy Night...one of the most beautiful songs ever written.
You are definitely into the season! Thanks for lovely card I received today!!!!
I like that mini-station wagon, Susan!
And O Holy Night is one of my favorites, too (like Diane). I have recently been struck by the second and third stanzas.
Merry Christmas, Susan ♥
Don't Waste the Miracles...I love that title!
Oh Holy Night is my favorite song, but I sing along to all of them.
I just finished playing Little Drummer Boy on my piano; need to practice. That is one of my favorite Christmas songs.
Love your bowl of bells.
So many lovely Christmas vignettes in your home for the holidays. Sending very merry Christmas wishes, Susan!
