One yard sale a few years ago offered slim pickings.
There was nothing one couldn't live without so I got ready to bust out of the door.
Then I saw it!
It was a lovely old white tablecloth with a pretty red poinsettia border, holiday bells and greenery.
The $2.00 price tag was almost too good to be true.
It saved the day!
It's honestly become one of my favorite holiday tablecloths.
It doesn't even matter that it has to be washed pretty frequently.
When it's in the washing machine, I simply put another holiday cloth on the kitchen table.
DO YOU HAVE FAVORITE THINGS YOU USE FROM SEASON TO SEASON?
LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteSusan, I can see why you love that tablecloth. It's such a pretty design. And so festive.

Very pretty. I have one in a box somewhere.
ReplyDeleteThat table cloth would be a favorite of mine, too. I love the scallop design. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteYes I have a beautiful green tablecloth Mom gave me and I put it on each Christmas and think of her. I also have live Poinsettia plants ..my friend and piano students bring them to me. I love them. Your table cloth is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love using vintage holiday tablecloths. Yours is lovely! I have one on my table right now. :) Kit
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table cloth...not putting out the usual this year for obvious reasons. Picked up pumpkins and set out some reds and poinsettias before surgery. Will be it this year but less can be more!
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time I had exactly the same tablecloth. LOVE the story and yours.
ReplyDeleteThat was a great bargain. One of my favorite Christmas decorations is an outdoor wreath that lights up and plays Christmas carols. My hubby switches off the music when he comes home, but I run back outside and switch it back on.
ReplyDelete.. I love your cloth Susan.... I love using Christmas cloths this time of year.. makes me smile... Barb xxxx
