It was SNOW DAY! Yep, no school today.
Teachers and kids must have been ecstatic to hear that early morning news.
However, roads are slick so going out is not an option, unless, of course, one is working and has to go out.
While I am not a teacher or student, I still love news of "snow day."
It means a whole day to clean, organize, read, go on the computer or do anything else I want to do.
(Picnic anyone? Hee hee)
Yowsers. How snowy but sweet it is.
DO YOU GET SNOW DAYS WHERE YOU LIVE?
Well stay in and drink some hot tea and read a book!
ReplyDeleteOh my that caption made my day...snow joke..ha ha ha. I love looking at your pictures of the snow especially since we do NOT have snow at all where I live. So happy for you. Enjoy your snow day.

I love SNOW DAYS too. Something gleefully delightful about holding a cup of hot tea, curling up with a good book and letting the weather just happen.
ReplyDeleteOh how I looked forward to snow days when I taught. Funny thing though, the kids always wanted to go outside and play in the mess, while I wanted to snuggle indoors. Instead I built igloos, snow forts and snowmen with my kiddos.
ReplyDeleteWould rather be building sandcastles these days.
Susan, your snow pictures made my heart sing. They are beautiful! Oh, how I wish it would snow here, but no such luck. I bet the kids were so excited to hear there was no school today. Love that first picture with the road, it's enchanting.

Your snow storm was so pretty. I think we did not get any snow from that storm. We have had very little. I am just north of Boston. I can be patient and wait for the white stuff but I must admit a little would be nice for Christmas.
