On Thanksgiving weekend, we had many visitors for whom snow was a real novelty.
The visiting kids did what kids anywhere would do when they see snow on the ground.
They ran outside, risked chilly hands and made a snowman-of-sorts.
There really wasn't a huge amount of snow with which to work but they did quite well with what they had.
Ol' Thankful even had leafy hair and big fat carrot for a nose.
Alas, within a day, he was about as visible as the Thanksgiving turkey dinner we had eaten.
Gone but not forgotten!
DO YOU ENJOY MAKING SNOWMEN?
Your snowman is cute! When I was younger I enjoyed building snowmen, but now I enjoy watching others build them.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine their laughter and giggles while building it. How fun, thanks for sharing, you have added a huge smile to my face this morning :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you have had that much snow? I love making snowmen.
ReplyDelete"Do you wanna build a snowman?" ...............
Glad you had a nice time with your guests.
He's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long since I built a snowman, Susan, but if we had snow in our area, I'd be the first one out there to play! This is a nice snowman made by all the kids. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a peaceful Sunday, dear.
